If so, we are looking for a Product Manager, Movie Magic, who will drive strategy and execution for the entertainment industry’s leading production management products, Movie Magic Budgeting and Movie Magic Scheduling. The role will lead one or more cross-functional agile teams that are responsible for delivering industry defining products and services that serve the entertainment industry. This includes maximizing product-market-fit of the existing products to charting a future roadmap to ensure long-term viability of the current products and new products for the company. The primary focus of this role is to drive customer satisfaction & market share for the assigned set of EP products and services.
Movie Magic are used by the entire entertainment industry every day to manage the complex and high-pressure world of production. Both products are the defacto industry standard and this position will be crucial to expanding the product’s mission critical role for its users.
This position is based in Burbank, California.
Key Responsibilities
• Build new products and enhance existing products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your Product Management experience as well as your contact with customers and prospects
• Serve as the internal and external evangelists for your products and services
• Write and manage a prioritized backlog of well-groomed user stories, in conjunction with assigned Product Owners (if assigned).
• Measure Net Promoter Score, market share, and other key performance indicators, making the appropriate recommendations to drive results
• Initiate and review market research to better understand and define customer needs as well as the competitive landscape for your product segment
• Continually evaluate business case and ROI to justify on-going investment and to identify growth opportunities for EP related to assigned product(s)
• Work closely with UX and Development to prioritize and refine the work
• Actively participate in overall EP product strategy across all EP applications. Identify product opportunities within assigned product(s) to enhance the overall value proposition of EP products and services.
• Facilitate the product’s adoption with a cross functional team comprised of product support, client services, marketing, payroll, legal and corporate communications, to prioritize and implement strategies to increase adoption and remove adoption hurdles.
Job Requirements/Qualifications Needed
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management or equivalent, with progressive growth and demonstrated success driving Net Promoter Score or customer satisfaction for a Web-based product
• Experience defining and delivering software solutions to Fortune 500-type clients
• Experience in the entertainment industry a plus
• Team Player
• Occasional travel may be required
• BA or BS
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills; works well on small teams as well as with all levels of internal management and staff
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong listening skills
• Able to exercise discretion with confidential information
• Must be proficient at Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with UX design tools a plus (Figma, Balsamiq, etc)
• Experience using ChatGPT for research purposes a plus

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position
