Responsibilities:
• Developing new user-facing features using React • Building Boilerplate and Starter for latest Next.js with App Router and Page Router support • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use including video and audio. • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Skills:
• Strong proficiency in React and its core principles • Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux) • Strong understanding of Next.js Architecture, Next-SEO and next-sitemap • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages. • Proficient in Rest APIs and how they work • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements • A knack for benchmarking and optimization • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GitHub • Unit Testing with Jest and React Testing Library • Bonus skills - Clerk, GitHub Actions, Tailwind CSS 3.3 and TypeScript, ES Lint, Prettier • Nice to have – WordPress, MAMP, Redis, Brightcove • Nice to have – Building Design System using Storybook components • Basic understanding of Core Vitals and ability optimize the components accordingly • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience. • Must have previous experience working as a React JS developer.
