IT Service Manager / IT Operations Manager
Location: Acton - Hybrid role
Exciting opportunity to join a global organisation in a newly created IT Service Manager type role. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of IT Operations in the UK.
The role focuses mainly on the systems lifecycle, ensuring performance, security, uptime, availability, problem reduction and timely incident resolution along with carrying out small-to- medium sized changes across the technology stack.
Further to this you will manage and coordinate third parties (including internal service providers) on a day- to-day basis and supporting of larger change as and when the need arises.
This is an exciting opportunity to join this organisation as their IT roadmap goes through a period of change and restructure, of which this role will play a key part!
Key Skills/Experience
Essential
• General technical understanding of on-prem client server solutions
• Cloud platform technologies exposure.
• Understanding of ITIL framework, problem, incident and change functions
• Supplier management coordination and selection of 3rd party services
• Experience of managing a complex technology stack in a complex IT organisation
• Self-starter with high degree of ownership and professionalism
• Leadership skills - ability to manage, influence and prioritise
Desirable
• Experience in a regulated environment
• Java, Windows, Networking, .NET applications, databases, data warehousing, HubSpot, authentication, microservices, security technologies.
