(instagram: @ines_jpedras) With expertise in geometrically complex projects in the fields of engineering, master planning, art, or digital computational services, we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of computational expertise, creating forms and spaces to meet the demands and cultural contexts of each project. Ines J. Pedras is the architect founder of GemStones Architecture. She is a specialist in computational design and new technologies. Her work has been published and shown in various exhibitions across Europe and Asia.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect located in Dubai. The Architect will be responsible for developing innovative and sustainable architectural designs, managing projects, and ensuring that designs are in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Architecture, Architectural Design, and Project Management
• Proficient in software development, including integration of software tools for design and project management
• Experience in presenting design concepts and communicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with an ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred
• Experience working on sustainable design projects is a plus
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Arabic is preferred
