Responsibilities
• Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications and services.
• Monitoring and Incident Response: Develop and maintain monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and ensure system reliability.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the seamless and efficient deployment of applications. Ensure a robust and automated release process.
• Performance Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to optimize the performance of applications and services. Conduct regular performance testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Security Compliance: Work closely with the security team to implement and maintain security best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning exercises to anticipate future infrastructure needs. Scale systems and resources accordingly to meet growing demands.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and QA. Document system architectures, processes, and configurations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer. 5+ years Required.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
