Responsibilities: • Build and maintain the quantitative models for back-testing and daily calculations of strategies according to manual or documentation • Understand the business and the internal systems thoroughly • Build various automated controls and operational risk management processes and manage them on a daily basis • Manage the daily operations of the critical internal strategic calculation platform like calculations, publishing, reconciliation, reporting etc • Advising Trading and other partners of reconciliation breaks on a timely basis; investigate and collaborate closely with Dev Team and Quants to get these fixed as promptly as possible • Manage the third party administrator framework and liaise with administrators for operational issues and reconciliation breaks • Communicate and cooperate with different internal counterparties to resolve operational issues timely as well as any planned infrastructural changes • Build up understanding of critical products and technical skills like python and assist the rest of the team on other processes and independent strategy implementation in the long run Required Qualifications: • 2 years of strong programming skills in Python • Basic understanding of financial markets and a desire to develop a career in Financial & Derivative markets • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Able to work on multiple tasks whilst meeting tight deadlines • Able to find and tackle issues independently • Attention to details Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
