Morgan McKinley has partnered with an Australian-founded Healthcare provider that is looking to elevate its cloud capabilities. This organisation is at the forefront of healthcare technology, and they are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer.
Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be tasked with scaling, advancing and optimizing the existing cloud infrastructure. Your focus will be implementing DevOps methodologies through automation taking the "everything as code" approach. Collaborating with a team of 3 DevOps Engineers to design and build innovative technology solutions, propelling the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicating with software, security and architecture teams to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
Implement and maintain DevOps practices to automate and streamline deployment processes through CI/CD.
Utilise your expertise in AWS cloud services to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
Identify areas for improvement in the existing cloud environment and implement solutions to improve performance and reliability.
Work with software developers to enhance code capabilities within the SDLC.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on scaling and improving cloud environments.
Expertise in AWS cloud services.
Proficiency in implementing CI/CD and IaC (Terraform or CDK)
Strong scripting skills for automation purposes
Experience building and implementing containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong knowledge or experience with Golang/Python programming.
