Role Description This is a contract Cloudera Administrator role located in Singapore, responsible for maintaining and managing our clients' Cloudera Hadoop clusters. The Cloudera Administrator will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the stability and performance of the clusters, troubleshooting issues, tuning configurations, as well as managing backups, user accounts, and security settings on the clusters. Qualifications • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Administrator. • Proficiency in administering Cloudera clusters, ensuring high availability and performance optimization. • Extensive knowledge of Big Data technologies including Kafka, Hive, Spark, HBase, and PySpark. • Experience in both private and public cloud products • Strong scripting skills, particularly with Python for automation tasks. • Experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support in a Big Data environment. • In-depth understanding of security protocols for CDP clusters and adherence to compliance standards. • Proven ability to optimize and fine-tune Big Data clusters for maximum efficiency. • Have a knowledge of Cloudera Data and ML products • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Note: This position requires on-site presence in Singapore. It is a contractual role lasting for 12 months, and Digifloat will cover all expenses related to relocating to Singapore
