As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gravity Co., Ltd, our parent company is known for its globally recognized MMORPG title, Ragnarok Online, and offers exciting opportunities for employees to grow and develop in the gaming industry Role Description The Business Development role is a full-time, on-site position located in Buena Park, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities to drive growth in mobile gaming. Day-to-day tasks include researching and analyzing market trends, identifying and approaching potential partners, and negotiating contracts and deals to support company growth. Responsibilities • Monitor game industry trends and identify feasibility of business opportunity and sourcing new title • Create and execute a strategic plan with the project manager for the successful launch of new titles. • Help manage product launch initiatives with partner agencies/vendors • Review various contract with partner agencies/vendors and negotiate terms of agreement • Work closely with the headquarter in Korea and the foreign subsidiaries as well as external partners to align business agendas • Work closely with legal counsel and inform senior management of intellectual property matters • Review various website user agreement and ESRB and update or change policies when necessary • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Passion for games of all types, especially mobile games • At least 3 years of experience in business development within the mobile gaming industry • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and build relationships with potential partners and stakeholders • A solid understanding of the mobile gaming market and trends, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities • Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet business objectives • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver results • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus • International travel may be required
