Java/Python Developer
Typical Day in Role:
• Work with the BA to understand the requirement and implement solutions
• Work with infrastructure team to set up deployment for various development components
Diagnose technical issues:
related to infrastructure to the cloud and to the scheduled processes
• Supporting a large project with many initiatives
• All development activities will be in the back end
• Developing and enhancing existing project and adding new features (primarily refactoring existing code)
Must
Have Skills:
• 8+ years' experience using Java
• Recent hands on experience with Python
• 3+ experience working with shell scripts (experience in a Linux environment)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
Nice-To-
Have Skills:
• Apache Airflow experience is an asset
• Experience with Counterparty and/or market risk is an asset
• Experience using SQL
Soft Skills:
• Verbal and written communication
• Team player and able to work with multiple developers
• Understanding requirements shared by BAs and the business, and be able to communicate with other
parties as needed.
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
