Our client is a family-owned retail business that has been in business for over 75 years offering the highest quality home goods to their customers. They have an overall rich heritage in luxury textiles, interior design, and have become an industry leader and household name. The organization is experiencing high growth and is looking to scale their information technology team. They are seeking a Director, DevOps, that will be tasked w/ planning, scaling, and implementing their modernized digital infrastructure via cloud service providers.
Job Title: Director, DevOps
Duration: Permanent Position
Location: 2x per week is required onsite at either their Midtown NYC office or their corporate office in Westchester, NY
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000
Job Requirements
• DevOps and Management skills with 8+ years of experience.
• Demonstrate AWS Certification and/or relevant experience in AWS Application hosting services (EC2, S3, RDS etc) required.
• Demonstrated experience building systems utilizing container services in Kubernetes.
• Experienced managing 3rd party Technology Vendors.
• Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline tools and workflows
• Strong programming skills (ability to script and automate job functions via BASH, PHP, ect,
• Solid understanding of network concepts including firewalls, routing, VPN and TCP/IP fundamentals.
