Senior Frontend Developer - Web3 - DeFi (remote)

We are in search of a skilled Senior Front-End Engineer with a passion for Web3 and decentralised finance (DeFi) to contribute to our client's leading position in the DeFi options protocol space. The role entails designing and developing front-end systems for an innovative Layer 1 blockchain solution, focusing on structured DeFi investment protocols on Ethereum and Solana, within a company known for its expertise in derivatives and blockchain interoperability.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain UI/UX for the company's application.
• Enhance and streamline the CI/CD pipeline and automation testing for front-end systems.
• Optimize the performance of front-end applications to ensure high efficiency and user experience.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to transform product requirements into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
• Engage and support the company's growing community of investors and market-makers.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on React, Javascript, and/or Typescript.
• 5+ years of overall technical experience, preferably supported by a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, DeFi ecosystems, and blockchain principles.
• Experience in building and maintaining high-performance web applications, ideally in the finance or blockchain sector.
• Experience in Web3 - contracts not just wallets
• Skills in UI/UX design and implementation, with an eye for detail and user experience.
• Proactive in staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and Web3 technology.
• Background in financial services, crypto trading systems, or blockchain technology is highly desirable.
• Backend development experience and previous startup experience are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
