What You Will Be Doing
• Meeting with project managers, senior staff, and analysts to discuss software projects.
• Designing new software programs, major enhancements, websites, and applications.
• Assigning tasks to junior developers such as coding, testing, debugging, and analytics.
• Writing advanced programming code, especially Java and JavaScript.
• Reviewing updated software.
• Managing project timelines and tasks.
• Writing development reports.
• Creating technical documents for new software programs.
• Git branch management.
What You Need for this Position
• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• At least 5 years of previous experience as a software programmer in a devops role.
• Managerial experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages including Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and software development pipelines.
• Knowledge of and experience working with rules engines (i.e. Drools).
• Knowledge of system frameworks such as AngluarJS and Struts.
• Experience working with Linux and Bash shell scripting.
• Experience in developing RESTful web services.
• Experience working with Agile development technologies.
