Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP BW Solution Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.
The annual salary for this position is between $120000- $160,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
Role: SAP BW Solution Architect
Job Level: Manager

Role Summary
Solution Architect with 10 to 12 years of BW solution architecture experience. Looking for someone with Define (Requirement Gathering) Gap findings Build experience. Also, must have good communication as well as business handling experience.
Role Responsibilities
• Extensive knowledge on BW versions 7x modeling
• Worked on BOBJ BW and BODS helps to define what changes to be applied at what layer.
• Strong knowledge in BWABAP for development around routines ABAP transformation codes extractor level codes and etc
• Strong knowledge on system stability BW tasks like partitions creation BW statistics Performance tuning of jobs data retention ABAP programs optimization redesign of solutions needing improvements.
• Extensive knowledge building custom extractors and custom complex code at routines and BW custom code.
• Expertise with BW as a writing BW Queries using BEx Query Designer and creating complex workbooks in BEx Analyzer
• LSA++ Architecture training and pro with ABAP OOPS coding using Field Symbols in Transformations and Extractors
• Expertise in converting the functional requirement into technical design document.
• Added advantage have some knowledge in SAP plant maintenance.
