Position DescriptionThis experienced Internal Audit & Advisory manager will manage and help develop a best-in-class solution for mitigating fraud, financial, operations, compliance, and IT risks across Henry Crown & Company and CC Industries.
The Internal Audit & Advisory Manager will be expected to build strong relationships & partner with executives and operating companies, while managing a team (internal and external) to ensure audits & projects are optimally performed and in accordance with best-in-class innovation and standards.
This role will also support special business projects as needed.Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or MIS, Master's strongly preferredCertifications / Licenses : CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA, or other comparable professional certification requiredYears of Experience : 8+ or more years of work experience in the industry with Internal Audit experience, at least 5 years of managerial experienceResponsibilities* Manage and assist in execution of the Internal Audit & Advisory Audit Program across Henry Crown & Co and CC Industries* Implement structures and processes to appropriately control risk across fraud, financial controls & compliance, operational, and IT related areas while recommending mitigating strategies* Build relationships with senior management and serve as a business advisor / partner to management and operating companies by providing actionable recommendations and solutions to gaps within business processes and controls* Enhance & develop comprehensive frameworks and audit work-programs* Evaluate the implications of change across the organization, processes (financial, operational, and IT), and other businesses using appropriate internal control frameworks* Raise & incorporate fraud prevention and optimization initiatives across all main functions such as Treasury, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory, PPE, Financial Reporting, Entity Level processes, FCPA, and KYC* Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of processes & controls within our operating companies* Conduct special reviews / investigations to prevent and detect fraud as needed* Review and / or prepare recommendations identifying root cause, risk implications, and impact to the organization* Communicate the results of audit and advisory initiatives through written reports, presentations, and meetings with management* Manage multiple time-sensitive, high-risk projects while meeting prescribed goals / deadlines* Manage, lead, and assist teams with fieldwork and ensure that they sufficiently document processes, analysis, risks, and conclusions* Assist with Audit Committee reporting and other special projects* Work closely with & assist the Director of Internal Audit & Advisory and all key stakeholders* Determine sufficiency of the audit work performed & the evidence reviewed based upon risk* Play a key role in annual audit planning processes and interviews* Coach staff to enhance competence and professional development while providing timely feedback* Demonstrate excellent analytical, written / verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills* Utilize Accounting and Finance technical knowledge (US GAAP / IFRS / Financial Metrics)Secondary Functions* Assist the businesses with overall risk identification, quantification, and mitigation controlsQualifications : * Accounting and Finance technical knowledge (US GAAP / IFRS)* Commercial Compliance knowledge (AML, KYC, FCPA, Government Reg) (Preferred)* Experience with using tools such as AuditBoard, PowerBI, or Diligent Highbond & ACL solutions such as Robotics (Preferred)* Expert in MS Office 365 (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc), Microsoft Teams* Experience with ERPs and tools (preferred : knowledge of JDE, PeopleSoft, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics / Great Plains, etc.
Relevant Industries : Experience with applicable industries such as Manufacturing and Real Estate, Hospitality, Financial Services / Trading, Family Offices, Trusts, etc.
