The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our local software engineering team by managing and optimizing SQL Server databases, contributing to performance tuning initiatives, and actively participating in database schema design.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Database Administration:
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient operation.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
2. Performance Tuning:
• Collaborate with software engineers to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations for query execution.
• Proactively monitor and resolve issues affecting database performance.
3. Database Schema Design:
• Work closely with the software engineering team to design and implement efficient database schemas.
• Provide input on best practices for database schema design, considering scalability and performance.

5. Documentation:

Qualifications:
