Job Description: As an IT Manager at Planet Education Networks, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the IT infrastructure across our growing network of campuses. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in IT management, with a focus on training, documentation, team building, and technical expertise. Responsibilities: Campus Site Inspections: • Travel to various campuses for site inspections to assess IT infrastructure and ensure compliance with company standards. Training and Development: • Conduct training sessions for colleagues to enhance their technical skills. • Develop training materials and technical documentation to ensure a consistent understanding of IT processes and procedures. Team Building: • Build and lead a team of specialized IT specialists. • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Technical Expertise (system administration + cloud): • Demonstrate proficiency in Office 365 administration. • Administer Microsoft Azure systems effectively. • Possess strong networking knowledge to address and resolve network-related issues. IT Infrastructure Management: • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems. • Ensure the security and integrity of data, systems, and networks. Collaboration: • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions. • Communicate regularly with campus staff and management to address IT-related concerns. Problem Resolution: • Respond promptly to IT issues and provide timely resolutions. • Implement proactive measures to prevent recurring problems. Project Management: • Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Requirements: • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in IT management. • Willingness to travel to various campuses for site inspections. • Experience in training colleagues and building specialized IT teams. • Proficient in Office 365 administration and Microsoft Azure system administration. • Strong networking knowledge. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
