A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for the Country IT Manager for the Siemens Energy business in Saudi Arabia, part of the IT Business Engagement Team Middle East and Africa. This role has a strong focus on the IT Business Partner role and bridging Business and IT.
How You’ll Make an Impact?
You will be the trusted business advisor and accountable for the overall IT performance in Saudi Arabia. Selected topics you will drive on a Middle East&Africa or even global scale.
You will be based in Dammam, manage IT Professionals in IT Partner Management and local application services. You oversee and orchestrate all global IT activities/services with relevance to Saudi Arabia.
As the Country IT Manager you act as the advisor to the business accountable management of the country/countries assigned to you in all IT-related topics ensuring highest customer satisfaction within the IT budget.
You manage and specify IT business information (budget, forecast, actuals and consumptions) for services and projects which are essential for setting up priorities with regards to IT - in liaison with IT key partners and the Finance teams.
You ensure effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including business, finance and factory management, global IT community, auditors, ITO partners and providers.
In alignment with business needs you develop IT services ensuring seamless interconnections with global platforms and strategies. Global and regional IT services will be deployed via excellent rollout project management and will be delivered with stringent service management.
You drive with a strong focus on Cybersecurity the awareness/adherence towards Cybersecurity measures on all levels of your IT organization.
In this role you drive the effective use of IT services by the users resulting in overall end user satisfaction and productivity improvements.
You manage direct and indirect reports in the IT Country Support and regional Siemens Energy IT Functions; you drive organizational maturity and actively promote talent development across the region.
You proactively share knowledge across the organization and strategically use your knowledge as creative force for change.
What You’ll Bring?
University degree, preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related major
More than 10 years experience in General IT Management function and different IT disciplines, e.g. Business Partner Management, Service Management, Infrastructure, Applications
Experience and track record in successfully and effectively leading global organizations; more than 3 years experience in a global/regional IT function incl. management of IT staff across different countries
Broad experience in Project Management for medium/large IT projects and M&A
You have a proven track record of high impact Digitalization initiatives while being very strong in setting up sustainable processes/organizations for IT operational excellence, as well as defining and executing strategic measures
Ability to build trustful relationships and reliable networks – both within IT and towards the customers. Anticipate customers’ needs: Understand, measure, drive and report customer satisfaction from senior/key stakeholder perspective
Experience in Organization Development and Process Optimization
Mobility and willingness to travel
