Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a financial company that is scaling rapidly throughout the UK and is now looking to take on a Kotlin or Java Technical Lead. This role will be a hybrid position working from their London office 2 days per week.
They are looking to build out an entire team here in London, due to the rapid growth of the company's presence in the UK. You will have plenty of opportunities to work on Greenfield projects and have lots of career progression opportunities.
You will be leading a brand new team consisting of 3 direct reports, they will include a Senior Developer, Mid-Level developer, and an SDET. In this role, you will have a roughly 50/50 split between people management responsibilities and being hands-on and involved in code.You will find yourself working on the product line & 3rd party integrations. This work will include savings accounts, currency exchanges, and financial reporting.
On a daily basis you will be working across the full SDLC including being involved in the architectural and design discussions, you will be working with the latest technologies and joining a company that encourages new suggestions. The team runs on 2-week sprints following Agile. This role will have line management responsibilities so previous experience is necessary.
