Education
~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field. (Master's degree preferred)
Professional Experience
A minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in iOS development using Objective-C and Swift.
Extensive experience with iOS SDK and Xcode, with a track record of delivering successful applications.
Technical Proficiency
Proficiency in building and maintaining high-performance, reliable, data-driven applications with a focus on interfacing with REST APIs and designing data storage (SQLite).
Strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and proficiency in XCTest for unit, integration, and UI testing.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and various teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Software Engineering Knowledge
Thorough understanding of software engineering best practices, coding standards, and version control principles.
Solid comprehension of the full iOS development life-cycle, encompassing build processes, testing, and operational aspects.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA and experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
Professional Attributes
Possess a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team and willingness to both learn and teach.
Strong commitment to delivering a superior UX design experience for consumers.
Even better if you have, but not necessary:
Proficiency in web and backend development technologies, such as React, JavaScript, , MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Golang.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for iOS apps, including familiarity with tools like GitlabCI, Fastlane, and Ruby.
Expertise in implementing CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) for handling client-server data synchronization and offline storage and usage.
Familiarity with Wholesale B2B practices and requirements in the context of iOS development.
