Job Title: Capital Markets BSA/Software Engineer - Trade Surveillance
Botsford Associates, a leader in financial services technology and compliance, is seeking a Capital Markets BSA or Software Engineer for our Compliance IT branch. We specialize in trade surveillance solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance in the financial sector.
Role Overview:
You'll be instrumental in shaping our trade surveillance technology and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Your expertise in system and API integration, regulatory compliance, and data migration, particularly in platforms like Actimize, SMARTS, TradingHub, StarCompliance, or Behavox, will be vital.
Responsibilities:
• Strategize and manage technology in trade surveillance.
• Deploy, administer, and manage trade surveillance application components.
• Support testing activities including Automated Regression, System Integration, and Performance Acceptance Testing.
• Maintain non-production environments and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
• Conduct capacity planning and manage product upgrades, patches, and certifications.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of projects, adhering to ITIL and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience in capital markets trade surveillance.
• Strong skills in system/API integration, regulatory compliance, and data migration.
• Knowledge of Actimize, SMARTS, TradingHub, StarCompliance, or Behavox.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile methodology
