WSP is looking for a Site Architectfor an Entertainment and Tourism Mega Project based in theSouthwest of Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor all aspects of the architectural project deliverables aresuccessfully delivered on time.
Yournew role whats involved
• Monitor and supervise all onsite construction activitiesto ensure they align with the approved architectural designs andplans.
• Conduct regular site inspections toassess progress identify potential issues and ensure compliancewith local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors subcontractors and otherproject stakeholders to ensure effective communication andcoordination throughout the construction process.
• Address and resolve any designrelated issues that mayarise during construction in consultation with the designteam.
• Implement and maintain quality controlmeasures to ensure that construction work meets the specifiedstandards and quality expectations.
• Conductinspections of materials workmanship and finished components toverify compliance with architectural and engineeringstandards.
• Prepare and maintain detailedproject documentation including daily reports progress updates andasbuilt drawings.
• Generate and submit regularreports to the project manager or client outlining the status ofconstruction activities potential risks and recommendedactions.
• Proactively identify and address anyissues or challenges that may arise during construction proposingviable solutions to keep the project on schedule and withinbudget.
• Work closely with the design team toresolve design discrepancies or modifications required duringconstruction.
• Lead and supervise onsiteproject teams including contractors and subcontractors fostering acollaborative and efficient working environment.
• Provide guidance and support to the construction teammembers ensuring that everyone is aligned with projectgoals.
Wed love to hearfrom you if you have:
• Degree educated fully qualified Architect with 25 yearspost graduate working experience in KSA or GCC supervision rolepreferably with a recognized global architectural consultancy.(Architect with reputed contracting company can alsoapply)
• Previous experience of working as asite based architect. Essentially having detailed knowledge of postcontract supervision role and responsibilities related to review ofcontractors shop drawings submittals and site inspection procedurescoordinate with the client & PMC representing thecompany
• Review architectural designs shopdrawings materials submissions method statements materials samplesand ensure adherence to the concept & IFC drawingsthroughout the site construction process.
• Working knowledge of Autocad Revit NavisworksBIM
• Experience of working on commercial /residential high rise / tall tower building projects.
