Join BDM in Elevating Global Design and Manufacturing Standards
BDM is seeking an experienced QA Director to spearhead our quality assurance strategies, particularly in high fashion and tailoring. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the design and manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to QA teams in China & offshore countries.
Implement preventive measures to uphold and enhance quality standards.
Conduct training and offer technical advice to factory partners.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with buyer requirements, managing corrective actions as needed.
Engage in new factory searches and audits.
Work with US Compliance/Legal and customers on field audits related to Social Compliance, CTPAT, and Sustainable initiatives, driving Corrective Action Plans at factory sites.
Expect frequent travel to oversee and coordinate quality assurance efforts in various locations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of experience in garment quality control/assurance, with at least 4 years in a senior role.
Expertise in woven, knit, sweater, and high fashion brand tailoring.
In-depth knowledge of US market quality standards for garments
Strong network within the apparel industry in various countries.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and follow up on preventive actions with manufacturers.
Proven management and leadership abilities, with strategic and analytical thinking
Resilience, self-motivation, and the capacity to work under pressure.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
