Job Description We are growing our consulting team and looking for a Senior QA Consultant to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family. Key Accountabilities • Accountable for test delivery, supported by the Project Support team, reporting to the Project Manager • Accountable for the delivery of the testing to an agreed and timeline and to an acceptable level of quality • Accountable for test scope, and adhering to the published methodology and project controls • Ensuring that test meetings are effectively organised and meeting minutes, where necessary, are taken • Accountable for Test Progress reporting • Acceptance that the work submitted by all test team members, including subcontract staff, meets the required Quality standards of the project Key Responsibilities • The overall delivery of the testing on a day-by-day basis to time, quality and budget • Responsible for developing Test Strategies and conducting Test Workshops • Responsible for developing Test Plans for the phases of testing • Planning, delegating, monitoring and controlling all of the Test Team’s activities in accordance with the Test plan • Responsible for ensuring that the Test plan is resourced throughout all phases of the testing lifecycle • Ensuring that the testing process is followed, and that all deliverables, milestones, and test phases are accepted • Act as a point of contact for the Test Team and escalate any required actions, issues, or risks to the Project Team/Steering Group • Organising and Managing of Test Meetings Qualifications Key Competencies • A good understanding of the software test and development process and the business approach. • Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365. • Significant experience in HTML & CSS. • Javascript experience. • Good exposure to SOAP, REST based APIs. • Good exposure to DevOps / Test Plan APIs. • Accessibility testing experience desirable. • Performance testing, using toolsets like JMeter, desirable. • Significant experience in Selenium Grid & WebDriver C#, SQL, Ruby, Specflow, and Cucumber desirable. • Significant experience in DotNet C#, ASP .Net MVC, Entity Framework Core desirable. • Significant experience in Appium, Win Driver Protocol and mobile app testing desirable. • Structured and disciplined with good interpersonal skills. • Ability to produce high quality and professional written documentation. • Good presentation skills. • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
