Small size office providing residential design service is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team located in Kinsgrove.
We are seeking a person with a passion for residential design and ambition to contribute to a growing design firm.
It is preferred that the person have min 3 years’ experience working in a design office in Australia.
You will require a good (advanced) understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and have qualifications in architecture and have an understanding of the NCC (BCA).

Responsibilities
• Control projects from start to finish to ensure high quality innovative and functional designs
• Take the ‘brief’ to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, buildings usage and environmental impacts
• Produce detailed designs and make necessary corrections
• Compile project specifications
• Keep within budget and timelines
• Ensure that all work are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulation.
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals
• Coordinate the activities of a project design team to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of construction
• Maintain project quality control by reviewing and making necessary adjustments to drawings / CC documentation
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• 3+ years of experience in construction and architecture
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Photoshop
