Job Summary The Architect IV who performs in this position is an excellent communicator, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. This person is responsible for project schedules, budgets, overseeing multiple projects. This candidate will hold a License in architecture and is a college graduate from an accredited architecture program. This person is an expert in Semiconductor Facilities design. Duties/Responsibilities • Lead a design team in producing architectural drawings from concept through construction phase. • Manage and direct various design consultants for project coordination. • Manage RFI processing as well as shop drawing reviews. • Implementing an in-depth knowledge of local and national building codes into building design. • Manages and facilitates project coordination meetings. • Communicate with client and multiple stakeholders as key CTCI representative. • Perform site observations and prepare site observation reports. • Assist in preparation of architectural contracts and proposals. • Assist in professional development of staff and encourage professional advancement. · Comply with all CTCI Company and HSE procedures and policies. • Follow Corporate Principles • Professionalism - Professional in everything we do • Integrity - Integrity above all • Teamwork - One Team. One Goal. • Innovation - Innovate to inspire • Perform other work-related duties as assigned Required Skills • Demonstrates proficiency in Autodesk Building Systems Software. • Familiar with BIM standards and industry drafting and design standards. • Solid architectural drawings production and organizational skills. • Successful in AHJ negotiations including mastering construction document submittal processes dealing with various municipal agencies and producing successful outcomes. • Able to direct and manage multiple large projects. • Clear communicator, able to direct and motivate team and give direction to staff. • Able to motivate staff and encourage a positive healthy workplace. Education/Certifications and Experience • Holds an accredited degree in architecture • 15+ years experience with the design of semiconductor facilities. • Licensed architect, preferably NCARB certified and licensed in multiple states. Physical Requirements • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc. • Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and printer. Safety • Follow all company and client operating procedures, standards, policies, and training to ensure safe and efficient operation on the site. • Actively participate in the CTCI safety program by correcting or reporting unsafe acts and/or conditions • Take part in and support HSE initiatives
