Purpose of the role:Kcal is actively seeking a seasoned and innovative UX/UI designer who embodies the essence of design thinking. In this role, you will lead the charge in establishing top-tier design and user experience standards for our digital products. Your responsibilities will encompass the full design lifecycle, beginning with meticulous research, followed by close collaboration with cross-functional teams including creative, software development, and key stakeholders. Youll be responsible for crafting user-centric solutions, encompassing user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, ultimately shaping the future of our product offerings. • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to define and enhance user experiences across digital products and services.
• Conduct comprehensive user research activities, such as usability testing, in-depth interviews, workshops, and ethnographic studies.
• Advocate for and implement accessibility criteria to ensure inclusivity in our digital offerings.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital landscape.
• Work collaboratively on large-scale projects across various teams and squads, ensuring a user-centred approach.
• Define multi-channel digital experiences aligned with our user-centered principles.Professional Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Design, UI/UX or other relevant designing field.
• With 3-4 years professional experience in UI/UX Design, with an online portfolio of exceptional design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch) is a must.
• Has proven working knowledge of and highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (notably Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Ability to visualize innovative solutions beyond the simple use of software.Interpersonal Requirements:
• Strong command of the English language (spoken) and excellent writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills youll be interacting with a culturally diverse team
• Problem solving abilities.
• Ability to self-manage activities with minimal supervision.
