We are seeking a junior Network & Application Engineer based in Sydney who is looking for the next step to progress their career in Technology. Working part of the Digital Operations team, you will be working with a highly experienced technical team, working alongside Senior Network Engineers, Technical Group Manager & General Manager. The role is located in Rydalemere, which is part of the Parramatta council area of Sydney. With free parking on site and a short bus ride away from Parramatta train station, it is an ideal location to work. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager - Digital Operations & Data Security and based in our Rydalemere (Sydney) office. Responsibilities: • Provide technical support on tasks on the development and maintenance of software applications. • Monitor network connectivity and manage network upgrade projects across Australia & New Zealand • Manage Cisco and MS Teams telephony systems. • Coordinate with Global network teams to resolve operational and performance issues. • Provide support and proactive task management to a variety of application systems which operate on a 24/7 basis. About You • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) (preferred) • Current Australian Drivers Licence (preferred) • Bachelor of Information Technology or Computer Science (mandatory) • 1-2 years as a Network Engineer and/or Application Engineer (mandatory) • Experience with Enterprise Telephony systems e.g. Cisco, Avaya or MS Teams (preferred) • Ability to work in office full time Monday to Friday (some ad hoc flexibility will be offered) • Ability to work rotating on call roster, approx. 1 in 3 weeks. • Prior experience working with a large multinational organisation (preferred) • Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and a National Police Check (mandatory) • Excellent communication – verbal and written. • Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate key stakeholders i.e., internal, external and suppliers/vendors.
