Software Developer C#/.Net Job. Person needs to live within 50 miles Rochester, NY due to this being a hybrid position:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for programming new software features and enhancements as defined and under the guidance of the application’s functional manager. The candidate has adequate experience to act as the subject matter expert for the features/functions he or she develops, as well as a key contributor to the design, test, debug and documentation processes. This candidate must have genuine enthusiasm and passion for technology, its application to solve business problems, and ensuring applications are best-in-class. Additionally, the candidate must possess advanced specialized expertise in the area of handheld/mobile application design and development.
Qualified candidates are required to:
· Share responsibility in the design and architecture of features.
· Ensure that the proper infrastructure is in place for feature development.
· Thoroughly and accurately assess complexity and level of effort for feature development.
· Demonstrate expertise in a technology area (certification or demonstrable expertise).
· Implement features based on specifications in the most vertical fashion (i.e., UI, business rules, database access layers, external interfaces, and actual database scheme design).
· Possess advanced expertise in handheld/mobile device applications design and development.
· Possess advanced expertise in user interface design and development.
· Ensure overall quality of implementation and support features during testing/bug fixing phase of the software development lifecycle.
· Ensure overall quality of their code within the overall project.
· Support and execute based on the direction set by their manager and within the timelines provided.
· Write and execute unit tests for features being implemented.
· Conduct/participate in code reviews as required.
· Participate and collaborate in project planning & review meetings as required.
· Typically has 5 to 7 years of experience in relevant software development experience
· Handheld/Mobile Device application design and development (Required)
· .NET Framework (Required)
· C#, C++, Java (Proficiency in C# or C++ required)
· WCF, WPF (Preferred)
· Desktop application design and development (Preferred)
· Enterprise Development and Integration (B2B, B2C, XML, WebServices) (Preferred)
Expected Annual Income Range $90,000-100,000

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
