Position Overview We are hiring a potential Assistant Director to be deployed to the Technology Strategy & Planning Division with the ministry Role & Responsibilities As Assistant Director in Technology Strategy Policy Office (TSPO), you will be part of the team leading the planning and policy development for key national health IT systems, including but not limited to system governance, data governance, and policy measures to drive adoption, working with various internal and external stakeholders to develop technology policy positions, as well as policy reviews on the role of strategic systems. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time and develop strategic partnerships with relevant vendors/ partners. What you will be working on • You will coordinate across stakeholders to ensure smooth development and operationalisation of the relevant systems/platforms, in line with policy objectives. • As part of the Strategy & Plans branch portfolio, you will be involved in relevant aspects of different national programmes, and strategic planning assignments, including sector digitalisation plans. • You will also provide staffing and secretariat support to relevant meeting forums where strategies and plans for the healthcare sector will be discussed Requirements • At least 10 years working experience, with prior experience in policy development and implementation and/or roll-out of major IT projects and experience in healthcare preferred • Good understanding of and interest in digital health trends, opportunities and challenges • Excellent analytical skills; able to synthesise perspectives and considerations, and develop cogent proposals • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with stakeholders within the healthcare sector and across public service to understand priorities and business demands • Enjoy working in fast-paced environment; comfortable with navigating ambiguity and change; resourceful and have strong results-orientation • Good general degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Healthcare related fields. • A high level of computer literacy Apply Now #LI-SYNPX32
