Why join us? • Amazing Company Culture • 100% employer paid benefits • 100% covered Tuition / Continued Education Reimbursement (Book cost included!!) • Family Owned Business • Promote Work life Balance Job Details Key Responsibilities • Assist in developing and maintaining the SQL environment, ensuring operational readiness. • Execute data loads, migration, and perform data modeling for multiple development teams. • Independently and collaboratively work on monitoring database performance and query throughput. • Create and maintain database standards and policies. • Support database design, creation, testing, and housekeeping activities (tuning, indexing, etc.). • Utilize knowledge of RDBMS concepts, T-SQL, MS SQL Server, MS SSRS, and PowerBI. • Ensure clear and consistent definition of data requirements aligned with solution objectives. • Monitor usage, transaction volumes, response times, and concurrency levels. • Audit and secure the SQL environment following industry best practices. • Assist in testing backup and recovery plans based on business continuity. • Manage SQL Server databases across development to production systems. • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies. • Contribute to a tight-knit team with self-motivation, innovation, and attention to detail. • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment after hours. • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies. • Adhere to project timelines, communicate changes effectively, and report suspicious conditions. • Observe safety guidelines and maintain clean, orderly work areas. Qualifications • Proficiency in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using both native and third-party monitoring tools. • Understanding of backup, restore, and recovery models. • Familiarity with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options in SQL Server. • Hands-on experience with Windows server, including Active Directory. • Prefers Microsoft Certifications such as MCTS, MCITP, MSCA, MCSE, and/or MCP • Additional experience with NIST 800-171, CIS Security Controls, PCI, and HIPAA is a plus. Education and Experience • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or possesses equivalent work experience. • Requires a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server Administration.
