Join a dynamic organization at the forefront of global business. As a Database Administrator, you'll play a vital role in the management and enhancement of core systems, focusing on SQL Server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, administer, and maintain SQL Server environments (versions (Apply online only) & Azure/AWS).
• Implement High-Availability for SQL environments, including Failover Clustering and Database Mirroring.
• Monitor and optimize server and database performance, addressing issues proactively.
• Execute database backup and restoration strategies.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day DBA responsibilities, resolving incidents and escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants/vendors.
• Setup and manage Test, Dev, and Production SQL Environments.
• Document major changes to SQL Servers and adhere to Change Control processes.
• Support SSIS/SSRS/Power BI/SSAS development and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 5+ years' experience supporting large SQL Server environments.
• Proficiency in SQL Server versions (Apply online only), clustering, and Always On Availability Groups.
• Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery solutions and Windows Server operating systems.
• Exposure to Enterprise Monitoring Tools and Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
• ITIL experience with Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
