The Opportunity Delaware North is hiring a Cloud Architect to join our team. The Cloud Engineer/Architect will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets current and future business needs while optimizing resource utilization, costs, and maintaining robust access controls. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in cloud technologies, possess strong problem-solving skills, team building and mentoring capabilities, and have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale AWS projects. The role will be part of a team that supports and maintains Systems Infrastructure. We are able to consider remote candidates with the ability to work EST hours. Pay Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $95900 - $129400 / year In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Enables and drives new business capabilities and operating models. • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize AWS costs without compromising performance or security. • Collaborates with other technical teams to create best practices and designs for compute, network, and storage cloud services • Collaborate with architecture, security, network, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions • Creates and delivers diagrams for unique AWS solutions and communicates to cross-functional teams • Stays informed on emerging technology trends and solutions • Creates and executes against function-level metrics and performance measures Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field • 5-8+ years of experience within IT teams and Cloud architecture • 3-5+ years of design and implementation experience in AWS with a deep knowledge in the following technical disciplines: infrastructure, IAM roles, ControlTower, Organizations and Service Control Policies, Workspaces, EC2, S3, WAF (Web App Firewall), AWS Backup and Data Lifecycle management, Lambda, Systems Manager • Familiarity with VMware Tanzu CloudHealth reporting console. • Practical and hands-on experience creating and implementing large scale AWS architectures. • Experience working in internal, external and hybrid Cloud environments desirable (AWS) • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework • Experience with Infrastructure as code • Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls • Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) • Previous work experience with AWS and ServiceNow integrations a plus • MUST be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. #LI-Remote Shift Details Day shift Evenings as needed Monday to Friday Weekends Who We Are At Delaware North, you’ll love where you work, who you work with, and how your day unfolds.
