Job Description The purpose of this role is to develop the strategic and tactical plan for driving the successful launch and performance acceleration for Rare Disease portfolio in the GCC and evolving the penetration to meet patient needs. Key responsibilities: • Develop a deep understanding of the market and disease landscape • Support and drive the development of the product strategy • Lead local development of an innovative tactical plan, aligned with global strategy in close collaboration with the cross functional team • Deployment of innovative commercial tactics through campaigns, marketing material and (cross functional) projects targeted towards physicians, nurses and other HCPs as well as PAGs • Prepare and execute the launch of new products and growth of current products within the cross functional team and strong collaboration with regional/global stakeholders • Play a key role in digital transformation - Enhance and drive multi-channel approach in close collaboration with Medical, Sales and Public Affairs • Identify and communicate local market insights about opportunities and challenges and present local marketing interests and needs back to regional/global Marketing • Drive meaningful market research together with CMI to close identified knowledge gaps • Close collaboration with Sales communicate and effectively work out new strategies and activities with / for the sales team • In charge of the marketing budget and forecasts • Foster an environment of cross-functional collaboration and best-practice sharing across all therapeutic areas. • Develop close relationships and project with Key Medical Experts • Develop the company's image and position in the relevant medical and market sectors • Support field team in the marketing strategy/tactical plan execution Qualifications • 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry, including new product launches experience • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical brand management experience, preferably in the Neurology/CNS or Rare Diseases area • Preferably at least 1-year experience as Sales Rep. in a Pharma Company • Thorough understanding of commercial business aspects including sales planning and execution, market access, patient advocacy, regulatory, reimbursement and hospital formulary listing • Fluent in Arabic and English languages • Experience in the rare disease platform strongly desired Additional Information Why Biogen?
