Principle Cloud Architect What's on Offer • Long term Contract • IT Company • Location : Singapore (On-site) Job Summary: As a Principal Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture principles, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of cloud architects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud strategies aligned with business objectives. Job Description: • Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and maintain high-level cloud architecture designs that align with business goals. Design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions based on industry best practices. Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and technologies. • Technical Leadership: Lead a team of cloud architects, providing guidance and mentoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to guide technology strategy. • Cloud Implementation and Optimization: Oversee the implementation of cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to design principles. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and efficiency. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical support. • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular security assessments and audits. • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team and across the organization. Job Requirement: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Extensive experience in cloud architecture and design. • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of cloud architects. • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus. © 2023 Basecamp.
