Are you passionate about developing resilient, and extendable back-end services? We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to join our team at My Occ Health Record (MOHR). We are 1.5 years into production and currently servicing, attracting, and securing great clients across transport, health, and government sectors. The Role
As a Senior Back End Developer, you will be able to use your previous experience in the engineering space to significantly improve the evolution of our product software. Working with the MOHR team to conceive, enhance, and extend an important occupational health and safety tool that is unparalleled to anything else in the global market.
You will need to be able to understand business needs, aligned with a focus on clean, reusable code, performant distributed systems, and performance-centric mind-set. As a highly experienced developer, you will be able to challenge the status-quo and bring your own ideas to the design and development teams. A keen interest (as well as capability) to work in complex start-up environments and co-located teams will be key to success in this role.
Your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
• Ensuring the delivery of quality code,
• Continuous enhancement of product features whilst supporting a collaborative proactive approach to software development.
• Strong committed focus on security of data, and data protection.
• Working closely with development and operational teams to design and innovate effectively.
• Managing relationships with wider design and product teams.
• Innovate and drive improvement of enhancement initiatives within a tight knit team.
The successful candidate will be working within an ever-growing tech environment team to design and build our market leading product.
Skills and Experience:
• 8+ years in back-end developer roles
• C#, .NET, Core, HTML/CSS/Razor
• Web API/MVC
• Expert in EF Core and LINQ
• SQL (TSQL or PostgreSQL)
• NoSQL (MongoDB or DynamoDB)
• AWS platform (especially EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS)
• Asp Net Boiler Plate
• Experience with pub/sub architecture + distributed systems
