As a member of the team your mainresponsibilities will be to: • Designing and developing advancedapplications for the iOS/iPadOS platform that meet high standardsof accessibility usability and performance with a focus on bothconsumerfacing apps and apps for transport staff. • Collaborating closely with our product anddesign teams to translate user needs and business requirements intotechnical specifications and implement them in code with a strongemphasis on accessibility as a critical component of our apps. • Writing clean welldocumented and welltestedcode for robustness and scalability with a focus on accessibilitystandards such as WCAG 2.1 and Apples Human Interface Guidelines.You will work closely with our QA team to develop and executecomprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and performance ofour apps. • Guiding and mentoring thedevelopment team to improve development efficiency and ensure thatour codebase is maintainable and extensible. • Implementing good practices for code qualityversion control continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) anddeployment. • Staying uptodate with the latestiOS technologies and trends evaluating and implementing new toolsand techniques to improve our development process accessibility andtesting practices. • Your work will be crucialin creating inclusive applications that support disabled and olderpeople to have accessible journeys. Requirements AboutYou We expect youto: • At least 5 years ofproven experience as an iOS Developer with a track record ofdelivering highquality accessibleapps. • Proficiency in Swift and other relevantiOS technologies such as UIKit Core Data and CoreAnimation. • Good expertise in some classiclibraries such as Alamofire Kingfisher andRxSwift. • A good understanding of iOSaccessibility and usability guidelines such as VoiceOver andexperience implementing them incode. • Experience with Programmatic UIframeworks such as SnapKit or Auto Layout to create responsiveadaptive user interfaces. • Experience with CI/CDtools such as CircleCI and Fastlane to automate the build test anddeployment process. • Experience working withremote data via REST and JSON and integrating thirdpartyAPIs. The following arenot essential but would be wellreceived by us in respect to thisrole: • An understandingof the general mobile landscape including frameworks architecturesand emerging technologies and a dedication to staying uptodate withthe latest trends and good practices. • Greatcommunication and collaboration skills with the ability to workeffectively with crossfunctional teams including product ownersdesigners and QA engineers. • Experience workingwith agile methodologies and software development good practicessuch as Scrum Kanban and TestDriven Development(TDD). • Strong problemsolving skills andattention to detail with the ability to debug complex issues andoptimizeperformance. During this session youwill have the opportunity to learn more about our company andculture and ask any questions you mayhave. • Negotiationstage: if the communication session is successful wewill enter into the negotiation stage where we will discusscompensation and other details of the joboffer.
