ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an ambitious developer to lead the execution, blending brand beauty; site & app ingenuity; and operational excellence into the best digital experience in the market.
You'll have experience working with PHP; Magento and open to bring other forms of technology to the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate on and convert design concepts into fully functional experiences on existing websites (Magento)
Work on robust back-end projects
Maintain existing websites to keep them at the highest standard and best in New Zealand from UI, new features, design changes, interactive landing pages to troubleshooting and bug fixing
Ensure optimal site speed and performance + technical SEO are at the forefront of all graphics, design and functional considerations and developments
Ensure high quality standards and brand consistency
Develop test plans and implement advanced debugging techniques across core browsers/devices
Providing mentorship to the team
Identify, recommend and execute new tech features and platforms
Keep up with e-commerce trends, new development techniques and innovative ways to improve customer journeys.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Proven commercial experience with PHP; Magento
Proven commercial experience in HTML/CSS/HTML5 + responsive website development
Excellent multitasking skills and working to deadlines
Team player, collaborator and excellent communicator with strong attention to detail
Keen eye for design
