Nuage Technology Group has partnered with an award winning and leading business. The business has invested heavily into their technology and digital transformation journey, with this has created multiple long term project roles, in the AWS and Kubernetes space.
About the role:
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of AWS services, with a particular emphasis on AWS networking, to ensure efficient and secure communication between resources.
• Design, deploy, and manage deployment infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes/EKS for seamless and scalable application deployments, and designing and creating Helm Charts.
• Create, maintain, and evolve infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CDK and Ansible to ensure consistent and reliable infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop, implement, and optimize multiple CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, facilitating rapid and automated software delivery, testing, and deployment. Utilize scripting languages such as Python or Java to create automation scripts, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
About you:
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing deployment infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• A Senior Engineer in Kubernetes / EKS, including the ability to design, deploy, and manage containerised applications at scale.
• Strong expertise in IaC using specifically Terraform and Ansible, with a focus on automating infrastructure, provisioning and management.
• Extensive experience with Jenkins for creating and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, with a specific emphasis on networking concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java, enabling the creation of automation scripts to streamline operational tasks.
Please note, this is only available to people based in Sydney, and is a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days as minimum required in their CBD offices. MUST have Australian Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship.
This is an exciting multi stage project, with the roles likely going past 5 years worth of work. Building internal tools that will have a national impact to the public.
