Job Description
Our client is seeking experienced AWS Data Engineers (Risk and Finance Projects) to join their team for a fully remote contract role.
There are currently 5 open roles for this position.
As a Senior AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining companys data infrastructure on the AWS platform.
The ideal candidate should have experience in delivering Finance and Risk projects or programs.
Your experience you bring will include :
• Design and implement data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
• Advanced Python or SQL programming languages
• Nice to have AWS Sagemaker and EMR
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Your responsibilities will include :
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
• Create and maintain scripts to automate data processing, monitoring, and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Skills / Experience
• University Degree
• 5+ years of AWS Development experience with Risk and Finance projects
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift
• Strong proficiency in Python or SQL programming languages
• Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker and EMR is a plus
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
