Vivid Resourcing is currently partnering with a defense consultancy company that is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team and contribute to and serve as a critical component of the USA's safety and security. You'll make an impact by using your expertise to protect the country from threats. Furthermore, you'll be part of an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the nation's most critical intelligence organizations. • Automating and optimizing service deployments. • Integrating with enterprise authentication services. • Establishing and improving system monitoring and maintaining security protocols. • Architecting, building, and maintaining on-premise and cloud infrastructure. • Administering production, staging, and development environments. • Managing server logs, monitoring security and system incidents. • Monitoring and analyzing system performance. • Maintaining and improving CI/CD processes using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD. • Applying configuration management for software revisions, security patches, and documentation. • Enforcing security and reliability best practices and participating in security initiatives. • Collaborating with other service providers and participating in on-call support as required. What you will bring: • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Poly. • Current DoD IAT II Level Certification or the ability to successfully obtain one within 90 days of hire. • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • Experience in systems programming and operational environment maintenance. • Proficiency in container technologies (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift) and DevOps processes. • Understanding of microservice design, Python, Bash, Shell scripting, and network technologies. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. Would be nice if you bring the following: • Experience in deploying Kubernetes environments using Gitlab and Helm. • Understanding of access management, security groups, and unit/functional testing.
