Reporting directly to our Chief Information Officer , this is senior leadership position that has the remit to deliver impactful patient and service excellence with a market leader.
Working with an exceptional team, you are responsible for delivering a strong client-centric operating model that provides application services to I-MED business units that support our patients, referrers, clinics and doctors.
This includes establishing and continuously improving application services covering, governance of third-party solutions, development of strategic assets, systems testing, release management, and production support.
In addition, understand the business demand for application transformation and enhancements, and ensure a pipeline of releases are planned and delivered.
What Success Looks Like :
You are someone who enjoys working with a market leader where you don't follow the market - but lead it! Healthcare experience would be highly regarded - however the key will be demonstrable experience working in complex multidisciplinary organisation, with proven strategic applications leadership experience in a medium to large business.
Your day-to-day accountabilities include :
Application Management Operating Model : Define and establish end-to-end processes, including vendor governance, aligned with ITIL processes.
Strategic IT Applications Leadership : Design and implement an effective application support model, ensuring services meet SLAs and KPIs.
Contribute to Business Strategy and Vendor Management : Provide strategic advice on Applications in business initiatives and lead vendor relationships and alignment to strategic priorities
Effective Commercial and Financial Management : Manage the Applications budget, ensure financial compliance, and cultivate relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Team Leadership and People Development : Foster a culture of performance recognition, information sharing, collaboration, and teamwork, where your team have well-defined goals and understand their contributions to our business success.
As a people leader you are a superb communicator and influencer, as well as deadline driven and able to demonstrate outstanding capability in delivering goals, initiatives and operational improvements.
You are driven, energetic and experienced in championing change, and transformation at all levels of an organisation. Key to your success is your ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments, engage your team and peers effectively and build consensus where required.
Travel across our clinic and office sites is a regular requirement.
