Position: System Developer (Mobile App)

PURPOSE
KEY
ACCOUNT ABILITIES
- Responsible for enhancement & support of Java script & mobile frameworks for Android & iOS
- Recommend system designs and approach and manage projects implementation through understanding of business requirements given by users
- Carry out feasibility study of any new requirements
- Prepare documentation (Confluence) on requirement and technical specification
- Perform system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement
- Evaluate and recommend new IT products and technologies
- Provide system maintenance and support of production systems
- Monitor the development by vendor whenever needed
- Work together with the rest of the team (BA, QA, Dev Ops), providing technical expertise and views to ensure on-time project deliveries
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent, minimum 5 years' related working experience, with at least 2 years at a System Analyst position
- Strong hands-on experience in Java script Frameworks and mobile storage & caches
- Experience in API development
- Experience in iOS and Android
- Strong knowledge and skills in app testing and release management
- Strong hands-on experience on code management in repositories
- Insurance Domain knowledge is added advantage
- Good analytic and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms is added advantage
