Job description:
• Their responsibility shall include overall maintenance, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting for Oracle and SQL Server databases: Install and Build database structures Backup & Recovery
• Apply patches and upgrade database versions.
• Daily maintenance including monitoring and database maintenance tasks.
• Query and performance tuning
• Part of On-Call rotation Develop and maintain documentation.
Qualifications
• Oracle DBA with over 6-8 years of experience in database administration of high availability production systems.
• Provide 24x7 production support, hands on experience in creation and maintenance of Oracle database instance, database design, database performance monitoring and tuning and Unix/Linux shell script Working experience in Oracle 10G/11g, Grid control, database backup and recovery are also required.
• RMAN Experience Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard experience required Working experience with SQL Server 2000 2005, or 2008. Oracle certification bachelor's degree in related field preferred
