Position Summary
Client is in search of an OpenShift Architect with experience designing, administering and installing large installations of OpenShift - preferably in an Enterprise setting. Experience with Cloud infrastructure and as a Kafka administrator are a plus
Required Skills
Design and administration experience with large OpenShift installations
OR Implementation experience with Kubernetes and good knowledge of OpenShift
Experience with using IaC to deploy resources in Azure or another major Cloud platform.
Implementation knowledge of CI/CD utilizing Containers - Docker and/or Podman
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of networking - DNS, DHCP, Load Balancers, VIPs, Certificates, proxies
Working knowledge of Enterprise storage options for OpenShift/k8s – NetApp, EMC, etc.
Desired Skills
Experience administering/architecting Azure RedHat OpenShift
Working knowledge of vSphere/VMware
Experience as a Kafka administrator or designing a Kafka installation.
Extensive Experience Enterprise storage options for OpenShift/k8s, especially around the vendor selection process
