The Security Engineer Data Loss Prevention and Database Activity Monitoring supports the IT Organisation in engineering, implementing and operation of IT Security relevant services (e.g. Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Database Activity Monitoring, Authentication Services, and others). YOUR CHALLENGE KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION Main Job Responsibilities Designing and building proof-of-concept enhancement(s)/solution(s) in the appropriate security platform Implement enhancement(s)/solution(s) into the production security system(s) Creating, updating, and maintaining standardized testing procedures and system changes for ongoing maintenance and support Collaborating with stakeholders to confirm and identify all requirements for engineering services Contribute to the research, design, and implementation of alternative security solutions that reduce costs, improve performance, and/or meet new requirements Communicate with customers as required, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages Conducting and participating in security product and skill training for personal and team growth Planning and coordinating any Change Management, Release, and/or other Go-Live activities Perform upgrades, application tuning, and infrastructure changes Participate in the team's on-call rotation Perform other duties as assigned Function as a subject matter expert (SME) for DLP platform within the organization Function as a subject matter expert (SME) for Database Activity Monitoring platform within the organization Working with vendors to implement and support the platforms, including troubleshooting and upgrading Maintaining the platforms, configuring policies, and compiling reports for analytics Collaborating on the DLP rule development lifecycle including policy development, response rules, and maintenance Provide on-call (7/24h) support where needed Client Management (internal & external) Various IT functions, both regionally and globally Local Legal and Compliance functions Business Management Key local stakeholders include IT Service Owners, IT Infrastructure, IT Application Managers, IT Architecture and Project Managers CRO functions – including Business Operational Risk, Information Security and Compliance functions Global functions – IT Security Solutions Establish strong relationship with key stakeholders and across the internal IT Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management Ensure appropriate ethical and compliant behaviour within the area of responsibility by clear demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations RANK APPLICABLE TO THE POSITION Associate Manager / Associate Director YOUR PROFILE SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION Professional and Technical Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent) with relevant practical knowledge Basic scripting experience with one or more of the following PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell Experience in working with GIT, SQL, REST, Regular Expressions Knowledge of Symantec DLP platform is an advantage Knowledge of Zscaler DLP is an advantage Knowledge of Imperva Secure Sphere is an advantage Willingness and ability to learn new skills Personal and Social Advanced collaboration and communication skills covering oral, written, presentation, facilitation Ability to work under stressful environment Highly structured and goal-oriented approach to challenges and tasks Independent and self-driven Ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Regulatory Strong understanding of the technology regulatory framework in Singapore and Hong Kong We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
