As a Backend Developer, you will:
• Create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs that are clean, well-documented, and easy to use.
• Design and code servers, services, applications, and databases that are reusable, scalable, and meet critical architecture goals.
• Integrate AWS Cognito for secure user authentication and authorization.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for proactive issue detection.
• Evaluate and optimize existing systems to boost Scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Work within Jenkins and GitHub Actions for effective CI/CD workflows.
• Highly motivated and have a passion for creating and supporting great products.
• Helps support and coordinate complex development projects with external technology partners.
• Great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
• Provide guidance and support for escalated incidents and problems.
• Manage network services and security monitoring to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents, ensuring continuous network performance and security.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Proficient in virtualization technologies and containerization, including but not limited to Libvirt, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, etc.
• Experienced in application server management, with familiarity in popular application servers such as Apache, Nginx, Tomcat. Capable of deployment, configuration, and optimization.
• Possesses strong Linux system administration skills and proficiency in Shell script writing.
• Knowledgeable in common application configurations and optimizations, such as Nginx, Redis, Apache middleware, etc.
• Expertise in performance optimization and capacity planning, with the ability to analyze system bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations while conducting capacity planning.
• Skilled in using Docker/K8s, with operational experience in Docker and familiarity with its deployment implementation.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in continuous integration, DevOps, agile development, and container cloud technologies.
• It will be a huge advantage if you are bilingual in English and Chinese.*

Salary: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
