Job Description Job Summary
Applications are invited for the above post to work with Prof. Pier Luigi Dragotti and Prof. Doryen Bubeck on a BBSRC funded project in Deep Learning for Electron Cryo-Microscopy (Cryo-EM). Our objective is to develop a new family of deep neural networks for the 3-D reconstruction of dynamic protein complexes from cryo-electron data. By working closely with structural biologists, the goal is to put forward approaches that systematically embed prior knowledge and constraints about the signal and the physics of the data formation process into the deep neural network architectures.
The successful candidate will build, test and optimize new model-based deep neural network for 3-D reconstruction of 3-D molecular structure.
