Our client a digital transformation technology company with a proven track record in solving complex problems for the finance, telecommunications, and construction industries is actively seeking to hire a Fullstack Developer in a hybrid role based out of Downtown Toronto.
What You Will Do
• Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java and TypeScript, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions.
• Frontend and Backend Development: Work on both frontend and backend components of the applications. Develop user interfaces using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, while also creating server-side logic and APIs with Java technologies.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of software components to identify and fix bugs and ensure the reliability and quality of the codebase.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, provide constructive feedback, and learn from fellow developers.
• Integration and Deployment: Integrate software components with third-party systems and deploy applications to various environments (development, testing, production).
• Version Control: Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase changes and facilitate collaboration within the development team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and project-related tasks.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in Java, TypeScript, and related technologies to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
What You Will Bring
• Overall 5 + years of extensive development in Java, Angular and React
• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred.
• Proficiency in Java: Strong hands-on experience with Java programming, including object-oriented design principles and multithreading.
• TypeScript Expertise: Solid understanding of TypeScript and its ecosystem, including modern frontend development frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Full-Stack Development: Ability to work on both frontend and backend components of applications.
• Web Technologies: Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex software development challenges.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Software Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
