Selected candidates will be assigned to work in government department responsible for designing, developing and maintaining test automation strategies, frameworks and scripts for various web and mobile applications
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve the web and mobile app test framework, and implement new test cases along with the product evolution
• Develop and improve the web test practice, contribute to the system of multi-language automated web tests; Develop and improve the API test practice
• To carry out test analysis & design, automated test suite and test case implementation, documentation, and report generation of various web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software solutions
• To work with a team of testers on writing automated test cases for testing system features, including system testing under Web, Android, iOS and Flutter environment
• To perform necessary manual testing where automaton toolkit could not or not yet covered
• To ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standard
• To evaluate and inspect/review hardware, software, and prepare technical proposals of IT equipment and services
• To perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirement:
• Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• 2 years or above hands-on experience in test automation and implementation of which 1 years must be in similar post and in comparable capacity
• Able to develop testing script in at least one of the following Typescript, JavaScript
• Solid experience in testing software products throughout the SDLC, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Solid experience in using SQL
• Hands-on experience in front-end automation framework using Selenium / Appium
• Hands-on experience in backend test automation, knowledge about postman
• Mobile testing and API testing will be an added advantage
• Experience in test automation tools is a plus. For example, JMeter, Postman, Selenium, and Appium
• Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Good interpersonal relationship and emotion management
• Satisfactory result in the written test on the interview day.
